Fire & EMS – Technical Requirements

Below are the minimum computer requirements to be able to use the KCE – Fire & EMS programs.

Hardware Requirements:

Internet connection: 128 Kbps broadband connection or faster (512 Kbps preferred)
Web browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 5.5/Windows, 5.0/Mac, or greater)
Processor speed: 700 MHz Pentium RAM: 256 MB RAM
Speakers/headphones
Mouse/keyboard
Soundcard
Cookies: Enabled

Software Requirements:

Adobe Reader—For downloading course materials: www.adobe.com
Java—For site interactivity: www.sun.com
