OSHA 10 Hour Safety Class
The OSHA 10 hour online training courses delivered by Kaplan Continuing Education are easy-to-use and designed to help users earn a Department of Labor OSHA 10 Hour completion card as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

Upon completion of Kaplan’s OSHA 10 Hour Safety Class, students will not only know the purpose and functions of the OSHA Act, but they will also know the basic requirements for proper aisle and passageway maintenance, the right and responsibilities of employers and employees under the OSHA Act, and be able to outline the general requirements for general safety standards. In addition to being prepared for OSHA certification, they will also increase their understanding of the importance of effective Egress fire protection programs and know the safe means of Egress to provide fire protection in emergencies from new or old buildings or structures. Lastly, students may be able to list the OSHA priorities and describe the inspection process, as well as establish the guidelines and requirements for special purpose equipment.
OSHA REQUIREMENTS
OSHA requires that each user must pass every lesson and the 40 question final exam with a minimum score of 70 percent. A score below 70 percent requires the user to repeat the exam. The maximum number of attempts allowed for any topic exam and or the final exam is three. All OSHA courses are timed and must be completed within 6 months from the start date, per OSHA guidelines.
