Attach documents that need to be reviewed You can designate which personnel need to view the news item (students, managers) and you can make the item "read-required" so that it MUST be reviewed and accepted before the user proceeds to any training.
Resource Center
Upload department or agency resources (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, audio clips, images, or videos) that can be shared with your personnel. You can also add a link to a site outside of the Kaplan platform such as YouTube. Be search to categorize your files and add descriptions for easy searching later.
Student Control Panel The Student Control Panel not only gives your personnel point-and-click access to their online curriculum; it allows them to easily register for courses, manage their licenses, and keep track of the classes they've completed.
Personal Information: Students can self-update their email address, home address, and job-related information (National Registry number, firefighter ID and more). Licenses:Students can add and edit their active EMS credentials, keep track of credit hours required for each license, and specify actions needed to achieve and maintain those licenses.
Notification Options:Students can select their preferred method of notification, such as email. They can also specify who should be notified about the credits they earn, and how they should be notified.
Register for CourseStudents can view individual and package course descriptions and register directly online.
ClassroomStudents can view all of the courses for which they've registered and begin any course with a single mouse click.
External Credits: Students can add details about courses completed outside of the Kaplan platform, including the institution (department training, courses at a conference) and CEUs earned, as long as they are given these rights by the account manager.
Purchases Features a detailed list of which credits the student has purchased and when.
Customize Home Page: Students can specify which modules are displayed when they log into the LMS, such as Personal Information and Completed Courses.
Site Configuration Enable/disable certain website functionality for your students and set the frequency for how often their account information is updated (email address, etc.).
Customize Student View:Choose which modules will be displayed when you drill down to the student view, such as CEUs Earned and Licenses.
Completed Courses: Displays a detailed, printable list of all courses completed by the student to date, both at Kaplan and externally.
