Web Development Track
Note: Students who already have the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications certification are only required to take CT 112.

CT 108: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0-Application Development Foundation
This course provides an overview for developing applications that use system types and collections, implementing service processes, threading, application domains, implementing serialization, and input/output functionality. Topics include embedding configuration, diagnostics, management, and installation features. Key concepts include improving security, implementing interoperability, reflection, mailing functionality, implementing globalization, drawing, and text manipulation functionality in a .NET framework application. This course will prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-536.*

CT 109: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0-Web-Based Client Development
This course investigates creating and programming a Web application and integrating data in a Web application using ADO.NET, XML, and data-bound controls. Topics include creating custom Web controls; tracing, configuring, and deploying applications; customizing and personalizing Web applications; implementing authentication; and authorization and creation of ASP.NET mobile Web applications. This course will prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-528.*

CT 112: Designing and Developing Web Applications Using Microsoft .NET
This course offers an overview of designing applications, developing a user interface, and designing and developing components. Topics include designing and developing an application framework, testing and stabilizing an application, and deploying and supporting an application. The key concepts are based upon Web applications. This course will prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-547.*

Windows Application Development Track
Note: Students who already have the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications certification are only required to take CT 113.

CT 113: Designing and Developing Windows Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework

This course will prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-529.*

CT 114: Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework
This course prepares students to design applications and components and develop application framework. Topics include testing and stabilizing an application as well as deploying and supporting an application. This course will prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-549.*
