CT 211: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1
This course covers the basic fundamentals of network administration and is designed to help prepare the student to take Cisco Exam #640-822 ICND1. The course covers the operation of data networks, implementation of a switched network, implementation of an IP addressing scheme and IP services to meet network requirements for a small branch office, implementation of a small routed network, administration tasks for a wireless LAN, identification and mitigation of security threats, and implementation and verification of WAN links.
CT 212: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2
This course covers advanced functions of network administration and is designed to help prepare the student to take Cisco Exam #640-816 ICND2. The course will review configuration, verification, and troubleshooting of a switch with VLAN and interswitch communications; implementation of an IP addressing scheme and IP services to meet network requirements in a medium-sized enterprise branch office network; configuration and troubleshooting basic operations and routing on Cisco devices; implementation, verification, and troubleshooting of NAT and ACLs in a medium-sized enterprise branch office network; and implementation and verification of WAN links.
