Ms. Heck graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She has more than 20 years experience in the health care field and hold four coding certifications – a CCS from AHIMA, a CPC from AAPC, and a FCS and PCS from ACMCS. Ms. Heck currently works as a Health Information Management (HIM) consultant providing both inpatient coding and audit support. She also manages two private family practice offices where her responsibilities include billing, coding, and accounting. In addition, Ms. Heck is an adjunct faculty member teaching college-level medical terminology for allied health students.
